Weekly Pool Service visits – to include:

  • Vacuuming of the pool
  • Cleaning of pool skimmers
  • Brushing of waterline tiles
  • Back-washing/Cleaning of the pool filter as necessary
  • Debris removal from adjacent pool decks
  • On-site water analysis and balancing/chemical adjustments as necessary

Chlorine, Shock, pH increaser/decreaser, calcium chloride, AlgaeAll-60 and Salt (as needed) are included in the Premium Weekly Pool Service Package.

  • NOTE: Customers with Pools over 35,000 gallons may be subject to an additional chemical usage fee  

Any additional balancing or specialized chemicals not used on a weekly basis (i.e. Algae treatments), will be invoiced in addition to the Weekly Service Package price and at the expense of OWNER.

In an effort to avoid additional service call related expenses NVPools personnel may, If necessary, perform minor repairs at the additional expense of the Owner as necessary in order to make the swimming pool/equipment safe and operational while on-site. [Minor repairs may consist of pressure gauges, pump seals, weirs, baskets, o-rings, cleaner/robot bags, backwash hoses, etc.] NVPools will submit a proposal for direct approval by the Owner for any repairs or additional expense exceeding $150.00.

Winter Watch Services – (2) visits between November and February to include:

  • Minor chemical adjustments as necessary
  • Lowering of pool water, as necessary
  • Advise Owner of the any issues/deficiencies related to the condition of the pool/spa
  • Removal of accumulated water from the top of the cover (applies only to solid covers).

Note: Above services provided only during the (2) Winter Watch service visits included with the Permium Weekly Service Package.

Owner’s Responsibilities for Winter Watch Service:

  1. Owner to contact NVPools personnel should they notice anything unusual related to the swimming pool (i.e. high water levels, torn covers, or damage to the pool and/or filter system).

Owner’s Responsibilities for Pool Opening Service:

  1. Owner must have the swimming pool filled above the normal operating level so that NVPools personnel are able to vacuum the pool to waste and still have sufficient water remaining to start and run the filtration system. Water levels should be raised (By Owner) to the very top of the waterline tile prior to your scheduled pool opening date. [Water level should be just below the bottom of the pool coping stones].
  2. All pool related equipment to include skimmer baskets, pool cleaners/robots, filter grids, ladders, etc. must be left out on the pool deck and ready for installation by NVPools personnel upon their arrival.

Return visits due to low water levels or missing pool equipment are subject to a $85 fee per additional visit.

Pool Closing Service – to include:

  • Lowering of the pool water level down to 8” – 10” below the waterline tile
  • Air blowing of all pool/spa filtration lines
  • Plugging of all inlet piping above the frost line
  • Installation of non-toxic antifreeze to pool skimmers
  • Installation of winter chemicals to include:
    • Algaecide, chlorine floaters, and winter shock
  • Winterizing of the filtration system
  • Installation of Owner’s existing winter pool cover.

NVPools personnel cannot be held responsible for residual D.E. powder that may be left on site from the cleaning of the filtration grids.  D.E. (Diatomaceous Earth) powder is natural and safe for the environment and will dissipate over time.

NVPools personnel shall place all pool equipment on the pool deck for storage by the Owner.

Owner’s Responsibilities for Premium Pool Closing Service:

  1. Owner shall advise NVPools personnel of the requested date of the pool closing service with as much notice as possible (not less than two (2) weeks prior to the requested date).
  2. Owner must have the pool cover(s) out on the adjacent pool deck and ready for the NVPools personnel upon their arrival.
  3. Owner must have all winterizing plugs ready and available for NVPools personnel upon their arrival. NVPools personnel will install new plugs at the expense of Owner if none are present.
  4. Owner must provide an acceptable drainage area for the lowering of the pool water level.  NVPools personnel cannot accept responsibility for water damage caused by the lowering of the water level at closing.
  5. Owner is responsible for the storing of pool equipment (filter grids, cleaners, pool hand held equipment, etc.) for the winter months.
  6. Owner is responsible for the winterization of any fresh water plumbing.
