NVPools, Inc. In-Service Training (IST) classes, courses and sessions are designed to maintain current lifeguard skills and certifications. IST begins with your pre-season emergency drills and continues throughout the season with regular practice and review. These sessions, conducted by certified instructors, will give you the confidence that you are performing your skills correctly. Continuous practice and reinforcement of your lifeguarding skills culminates with two (2) Skills Test Sessions. Successful completion of both of these Skills Test Sessions will renew your lifeguard certifications. Thus, your certifications will be current and upgraded to the most recognized and accepted provider, the American Red Cross.
